Refund Policy

Effective September 23, 2026

Everything sold on Trading Post is a digital download, delivered the moment your payment clears. This policy explains how refund requests work. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

All sales are final. Refunds are not guaranteed. Any refund is granted solely at the discretion of Trading Post after an administrator reviews your request.

1. No right to a refund

Buying a product does not entitle you to a refund for any reason, including if you change your mind, no longer need the product, did not read the listing, or find it does not suit your setup. Sellers cannot promise or grant refunds on Trading Post's behalf.

2. Asking for one anyway

If you believe something has gone wrong with a purchase, first message the seller from your order page. Many problems — a missing file, a setup question — are quickest fixed by the person who made the product.

If that does not resolve it, open the order under My Purchases, choose Request Refund, and explain what you expected and what you received. You can have one open request per order at a time.

3. How requests are decided

A Trading Post administrator reviews each request. The administrator may consider the listing, the files delivered, your messages with the seller and anything else they find relevant, and may approve or deny the request for any reason or none. The decision is final. We are not obliged to explain it, and we may decline to review a repeat request on the same order that does not include new information.

4. If a refund is approved

  • The price you paid is returned to your original payment method. Your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
  • You lose access to the product's files and any future versions, and your licence to use it ends. Delete any copies you downloaded.
  • The refunded amount may be recovered from the seller's connected Stripe account, as described in the Terms of Service.

5. Chargebacks

Please use the refund request process before contacting your bank. Opening a payment dispute or chargeback without first requesting a refund, or after a request has been decided, may lead us to suspend your account.

6. Right of withdrawal

Because products are delivered immediately, at checkout you ask for delivery to begin at once and acknowledge that, where the law gives consumers a right to withdraw from a purchase (such as the 14-day right in the EU and UK), you lose that right once the download is made available to you.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the law where you live that cannot be waived by agreement.

7. Contact

Questions about a refund request can be sent to [email protected]. Include your order number.
